Administrative Division

The Administrative Division encompasses several organizational components that are critical to supporting the overall department mission. The Administrative Division consists of the Records Division, the Vehicle Maintenance Division, the Parma Regional Dispatch Center, and the management of department training for all sworn and non-sworn personnel. The Administrative Division also oversees critical operational functions such as building maintenance and security, communications systems, police cruiser and body camera systems, and the management of the Emergency Operations Center in the event of a city-wide emergency.  

Administrative Commander - Captain Brian McCann

Captain Brian McCann was sworn into the department in 1989. He was recently transferred to the Administrative Division after serving as the commander of the Detective Bureau and Uniform Patrol Division. Captain McCann has extensive experience in the patrol division. He was the commander of the department's field-training unit and currently oversees the department's Crisis Negotiation Team. Captain McCann is a graduate of Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command, and the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
