Administrative Division

The Administrative Division encompasses several organizational components that are critical to supporting the overall department mission. The Administrative Division consists of the Records Division, the Vehicle Maintenance Division, the Parma Regional Dispatch Center, and the management of department training for all sworn and non-sworn personnel. The Administrative Division also oversees critical operational functions such as building maintenance and security, communications systems, police cruiser and body camera systems, and the management of the Emergency Operations Center in the event of a city-wide emergency.  

Administrative Commander - Captain David Zarzeczny 

Captain David Zarzeczny began his career as a Parma Police officer in 2002 and has experience in the various units that comprise the patrol division and has served as the field training unit commander, the SWAT Team commander, critical incident team coordinator, drone project manager, department instructor and a clandestine lab technician. 

Captain Zarzeczny graduated from Padua High School in 1996, the Ohio Highway Patrol Academy in 2001, and the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University in 2019.
