Chief of Police James I. Blair 

Chief Blair

Chief Blair began his career with the Parma Police Department in 1992. He has served as a Shift Sergeant, Traffic Unit Sergeant, Shift Commander, and Detective Lieutenant, and has commanded the Administrative and Patrol Divisions. Before being selected as Parma’s 10th Chief of Police, he served as the Deputy Chief of Police for 4 years. Chief Blair holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Tiffin University. He is a 2007 graduate of the Police Executive Leadership College and a 2008 graduate of the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command. He is also a 2015 graduate of the Certified Law Enforcement Executive Program sponsored by the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police and a 2016 graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
